Only one week to go till the next Birregurra Festival Art Show!
As usual there will be a huge array of local food, beer and wine stalls, the very high standard Art Show from both local artists and those from further afield, live music and of course lots of eclectic street stalls to suit all interests.
The children will be kept well entertained by the animal nursery, rock climbing wall, huge inflatable slide and a special treat with a performance by The MikMak’s.
For the green fingered, the Garden Hub is back!! Buy plants and vege seedlings, bring the kids to pot up their own veges and Guess the Herb to be in the running for a $100 voucher to Birregurra Royal Mail Hotel.
To start the festival off, the art show opens on Friday 9th October at 7.30pm. It is a must-attend event to launch the weekend festival. With amazing prizes on offer, the Birregurra festival art show attracts hundreds of entries from artists throughout Victoria.
This year the festival runs over the weekend of Saturday 10th to Sunday 11th October 2014, and this year the entertainment will be the best yet. Across two stages there will be music from Woodlock, the Kite Machine, Allister Turrill and the Vegabond Bros and many more. Not to mention our own local choir, Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Marsh, where you might even glimpse one or two folks you know from Countrywide Cottages!
